Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Analysis & Test Planning: Review and analyze software requirements to design detailed and structured test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.

          • Risk & Impact Analysis: Evaluate the implications of new features and changes on existing functionality to prioritize testing effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
    • 2–3 years of focused manual testing experience across web and/or mobile applications.
      • Proficiency in formalizing test documentation—test plans, cases, checklists, and test reports.
        • Experience using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla with strong defect logging and tracking capabilities.
          • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, and familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) workflows.
            • Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.
              • Excellent verbal and written communication to articulate issues clearly and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI for manual verification of backend services.
  • Exposure to SQL or basic database validation techniques
  • Familiarity with mobile testing (iOS/Android) and using device debugging tools such as ADB or Charles Proxy.
  • ISTQB or other relevant QA certification.
