GM CONSTRUCTIONPrepared By:Approved By:Name:WORK DESCRIPTION & PERFORMANCE PLAN:Summary of Job Profile:MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:To prepare monthly & annual budget project wise & take approval from higher management.To follow the project schedule & implement the process to complete the project within the time line along with micro schedule.Prepare Work breakdown structure of all the activities of site/sites from Master Plan (Annual/ Overall project plan) along with the micro BOQs.To prepare look ahead schedule on quarterly basis for track the cash flow & It should be jointly verified with management with construction head.To develop & maintain project management methodology including with document templates, identify project phases, reporting & planning information for successful delivery of projects.To be responsible for implementing & maintaining document storage system that will contains all documentation for that particular projects & it can be easily accessed.To prepare monthly material requirements in one month advance.Reconciliation of every material in stage wise & it should be sent with the timeline.To verify contractor material reconciliation statement & should attach with their bills.Responsible for timely verify & submission of contractors bill to concerned departments.Assist QS team in preparation of BOQ of the allotted project site.Review of BOQ v/s consumption after stage wise completion of allotted project site.Responsible for conducting monthly/weekly meetings with management.To plan the frequency of safety & quality audits required for the projects by the Central Quality & audit teams.Responsible to meet the company HSE standards develop well trained professional & motivated team.Responsible for quality & quantity as per quality norms of raw material received at site.Verification of material requisition slip & processing of the same.Key technical adviser for Contractors, subcontractors, Supervisors and operatives setting out, levelling and surveying the site.Verify plans, drawings and calculations for accuracy & if non-conformance occurred they have to raise RFI to concerned department.Over all Independent responsibility for the execution of project, management of labor, staff, & Client.Conducting fortnightly meetings at site with contractors & their own site regarding the progress of work.Keep track of the project bar charts, progress reviews, safety meetings, contractors and consultant meetings, stock and store registers.Ensuring materials used and work performed are as per required specifications and should ensure collection of materials test certificate from respective vendors.Ensuring that the team achieves the project's deliverable without unnecessary delays& follow up for same.Select, train, develop & review team at site in regular intervals.Any other task as assigned by Management as and when required.Knowledge:Construction practicesProficiency of MS ProjectsProficient in MS officeAuto CADSkill:Analytical ThinkingPlanning skillTime ManagementBusiness Acumen,Leadership,CommunicationNegotiation skillsAbilities:Maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty in all business dealings.Be professional in dress, manners, and conduct.Be a self-motivated individual and display initiativeBe positive in every situation even in adverse conditions.Be courteous with the staff and customersUnderstand and follow all company policies and proceduresAnticipate, prevent and solve problems (proactive vs. reactive) within his/her authority.Make quick, accurate decisions when necessary and take responsibility for his/her actionsEducation, Experience, Licensure, Certification required for the position:Diploma/B.
