Godrej Process Equipment has two manufacturing facilities in India, at Vikhroli, Mumbai and Dahej, Gujarat with an access to own jetties in both locations, making transportation to anywhere in the globe convenient and easy.

Location - Dahej, Gujarat


Job Description:

  • Formulate and implement manufacturing strategy in line with business strategy.
  • Plan resources as per the primavera plan, achieve production plan and ensure on time delivery.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation as per primavera.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of automatic and semiautomatic processes for productivity improvement and to reduce manpower requirement.
  • Monitor execution of daily plans with team for projects and schedule cross functional meetings to review the progress of the activities.
  • Review performance measures and ensure course correction wherever required.
  • Set and review processes to ensure reduction of rework.
  • Monitor and ensure execution of maintenance plan for all machines in shop floor.
  • Coordinate with purchase department for timely delivery of project material and items
  • Manage overall administration of spares including imported spares and establishment of economy levels.
  • Manage industrial relations to ensure harmonious work environment.
  • Ensure shop floor discipline and adherence to safe working practices.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed at all levels and good housekeeping levels are maintained.
  • Drive management systems and initiatives such as IMS, TPM, KAIZEN and Business Excellence for department
  • Motivate and lead manufacturing team on journey of Manufacturing Excellence


Qualifications Required: Diploma /Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production)


Experience Required: 18+years for B.E. graduates / 20+ years for Diploma graduates


Special Skills Required:

Operational knowledge of sequence of manufacturing processes

Familiarity with international codes like ASME, TEMA etc.

Familiarity with various national and international material specifications

Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and related procedures

Knowledge of ERP and Primavera software

Computer Proficiency
