Senior Proposal Content DeveloperWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Proposal Content Developer to join our Business Development and Proposal shop.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in translating technical solutions into compelling stories that highlight our value proposition while keeping the customer's challenges and needs at the heart of our proposals.Responsibilities:Develop compliant, compelling technical proposal content that clearly and concisely executes on the strategic response plan with an emphasis on customer insight through researchCollaborate closely with the Capture Lead, Proposal Manager, Account Team, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Solution Architects (SAs), and other authorsCapture solution information for development of compliant proposal sections and take ownership of crafting the Technical ApproachTranslate technical solution ideas into easily understood terms in the written responseManage content development to meet color review expectations and execute quality control functions for compliance with RFx and proposal design standardsWork actively with the Proposal Manager to plan for and build several repositories of re-usable content and other artifacts which will maximize the efficiency of proposal content development and increase the internal knowledge baseRequired Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with excellent English language skills5 years' experience in proposal or technical writing for US government proposalsShipley or equivalent training or certification highly desiredStrong working knowledge of word processing software and MS ExcelExperience creating/editing compelling graphics using Microsoft PowerPointExcellent organizational skills, as well as attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to meet deadlinesGood strategic planning abilitiesReferences must be providedCandidates should be able to work until midnight and be available to come to the office a few days a week.
