Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned SDET to develop and maintain robust automation frameworks and lead testing initiatives across UI, API, and backend systems.The ideal candidate should have strong test automation expertise using Playwright with TypeScript, along with solid manual testing capabilities for scenarios where automation is not feasible.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Testing:Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript).Automate UI, API (REST), and backend tests with high reliability and performance.Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins).Optimize automation suites for speed, stability, and maintainability.Manual Testing:Design and execute manual test cases for complex scenarios not suited for automation.Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases, usability issues, and unexpected behavior.Validate bug fixes, perform regression cycles, and ensure test coverage.Document defects with complete reproduction steps, logs, and evidence.Collaboration & Leadership:Work closely with developers to enable shift-left testing and improve application testability.Participate in requirement and design reviews to identify test scenarios early.Mentor junior team members in both automation and manual testing best practices.Core Skills & Requirements6+ years of experience in SDET/test automation70% Automation + 30% Manual TestingStrong automation skills in:PlaywrightJavaScript / TypeScriptAPI (REST) testingCI/CD: Git, JenkinsStrong manual testing expertise:Test case design & executionExploratory & regression testingDefect logging and documentationGood understanding of Agile methodologiesHands-on experience with collaboration tools
