Project Manager for App DevelopmentWe're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee small-scale app development projects from concept to launch.This role involves coordinating between design, development, QA, and business teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and can manage multiple lightweight projects simultaneously.Key Responsibilities:Plan and Organize App Development Lifecycle: Manage end-to-end app development lifecycle for small to mid-sized applications.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.Break Down Requirements into Actionable Tasks: Divide high-level requirements into actionable tasks and assign them to development resources.Run Daily or Weekly Meetings: Conduct daily or weekly stand-ups, sprint planning, and progress review meetings.Track Project Progress: Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.Identify Risks and Issues: Identify risks, issues, and blockers; proactively resolve or escalate them.Maintain Clear Communication: Maintain clear communication between business team, designers, developers, and QA.Manage Documentation: Coordinate testing, bug tracking, and release planning.Ensure Smooth Handover: Ensure smooth handover to client, support, or operations teams after go-live.Required Skills & Qualifications:Project Management Experience: 2–3 years of experience in project management, preferably in software or app development.Mobile/Web App Development Lifecycle Understanding: Strong understanding of mobile/web app development lifecycle.Agile Methodologies Experience: Experience with Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies.Familiarity with Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp).Excellent Communication and Organization Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.Technical Detail Translation: Ability to translate technical details into simple business language.Problem-Solving Mindset: Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.Basic UI/UX Understanding: Basic understanding of UI/UX, APIs, QA processes, and app release cycles (nice to have).Preferred Qualifications:PMP or Scrum Master Certification: PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification.Offshore Team Experience: Experience managing offshore or distributed development teams.Startups or SaaS Products Background: Background in startups, SaaS products, or small technology projects.Success Indicators:Timely and Within Scope Projects: Projects delivered on time and within scope.Clear Communication and Alignment: Clear communication and alignment across teams.High-Quality App Releases: High-quality app releases with minimal post-launch issues.Positive Feedback: Positive stakeholder and user feedback.
