With an expanding portfolio of complex projects and a dedicated team of over 150 developers, we are looking for a visionary and technically proficient CTO to lead our technology strategy and development.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to oversee all technical aspects of our company. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and hands-on technical leader who can architect solutions, manage development teams, and align technology with business goals. This individual will play a crucial role in defining and executing our technological vision while ensuring that Jellyfish Technologies stays at the forefront of innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with our business goals. Identify trends and opportunities to leverage emerging technologies for competitive advantage.

- Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical leadership in all development projects, especially in our core technologies like Node.js and React.js. Ensure scalability, performance, and security across all platforms.

- Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of software engineers, developers, and technical specialists. Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

- Product Development: Oversee product architecture, design, and development, ensuring high-quality code and best practices are followed. Guide the development of new products and enhancements of existing products.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Marketing to align technology with customer needs. Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders and clients.

- Innovation and R&D: Drive research and experimentation to integrate new technologies. Encourage a culture of innovation to keep the company competitive.

- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all technology solutions comply with industry standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and security protocols.

- Budget Management: Manage and optimize technology budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet business needs.

- Technical Support and Issue Resolution: Act as an escalation point for technical challenges, providing timely solutions and implementing preventive measures

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum 15 years in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced technical certifications are a plus.

- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams.

- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in data-driven decision-making and performance optimization.

- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
