Lead Procurement Analyst

As a Lead Procurement Analyst in our Global Indirect Procurement team, you will:Lead and manage spend categories, develop strategies and negotiate contracts for products, services, and suppliersContribute to category saving targets for multiple categories and supplier performanceReview and analyse contract data, business goals and market conditions to identify cost saving opportunitiesDetermine deal strategy and control all aspects of contract negotiations and cost-effective supplier assessmentsAct as a key point of contact for global stakeholders for indirect procurement activity and develop and maintain strong relationships with business unitsDevelop knowledge of the business needs, expectations, priorities and goalsHelp to plan and execute sourcing strategies that guarantee the most optimum commercial position for Dr. MartensDrive RFPs aligned to business needsIdentify new services and valuable suppliers able to bring tangible value, innovation and competitive advantage for our businessOversee the procurement process from start to finish, and provide improvement initiatives where appropriateRegularly review the indirect supply base, provide consolidation and reduction initiatives, foster solid partnerships with strategic vendorsProvide regular reporting against procurement KPIsTHE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APARTMust-Have Experience:6+ years of Sourcing, Procurement experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationExcellent commercial acumen and negotiation skillsExperience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreementsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholdersAbility to influence stakeholders and cross functional teams to drive agendaA team player with ability to work with people from all corporate levelsTenacious attitude to drive process improvementStrong data collection, collation and representation skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skills - Ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate effective action plans to resolve issues.Customer and service centric mind set, placing the user at the heart of the solutionAble to multi-task and respond quickly and effectively to the challenges faced in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, able to plan and prioritize workloadDesirable skills/experience:Experience of working within a fast-moving, global retail environmentExperience defining and implementing strategy in multiple indirect procurement categoriesExperience in line managementTechnical Skills:Excellent analytical skills particularly within Excel and/or Power BISoft Skills:Excellent communication and stakeholder managementStrong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple prioritiesAbility to take initiative and work independentlyAre you ready to fill your boots?
