Job Title: Technical DirectorLoglineAI is building a cutting-edge platform called 'Studio OS' that converts scripts, briefs, and assets into shots, sequences, and finished films using GenAI, 3D, and VFX.The Technical Director / Head of Generative Engineering will lead the development of this platform, owning its overall architecture and technical direction.Design and own the architecture of Studio OS:APIsworkflow enginemodel gatewayrender orchestrationasset/metadata systemsKey responsibilities include:Translating requirements from producers, directors, and GenAI artists into robust, repeatable pipelinesIntegrating external AI services into a single coherent systemDefining and implementing observability and reliability: logging, metrics, tracing, error budgets, incident responseRequirements:8–12+ years building production-grade systems in media, VFX, gaming, SaaS, or other high-scale backend domainsStrong hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), containers, queues, and microservicesExperience with media/VFX/animation or real-time engines (Unreal, Blender, Nuke, Resolve, etc.) is preferredIdeal Candidate:The ideal candidate comes from industries such as VFX, animation, post-production, gaming, real-time 3D, or high-scale SaaS/cloud platforms that manage intensive media, GPU, or distributed workloads.
