Quality Control Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst with a strong eye for detail and an analytical mindset to monitor and ensure the quality of our live online classes, which focus on coding and robotics. The ideal candidate will assess various aspects of instructor performance, student engagement, and technical quality. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify gaps, suggest improvements, and ensure that the teaching experience consistently meets and exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Live Online Classes: Regularly observe live classes to assess teacher preparedness, alertness, responsiveness, and technical proficiency, especially within the context of teaching coding and robotics.
- Evaluate Teaching Performance: Analyse instructor abilities, presentability, energy, and enthusiasm, ensuring they align with company standards and course objectives.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use Google Sheets/Excel to track performance metrics, document findings, and generate comprehensive reports. Identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work with the training team, content team, and instructors to communicate findings, provide feedback, and suggest corrective actions.
- Documentation Development: Create new strategies and documentation to improve the quality control process. Develop clear, structured records to track performance improvements and deviations.
- Adhere to Dynamic Standards: Track key performance indicators that evolve with course content, ensuring that both teaching quality and the overall experience maintain a high standard.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, Data Analytics, Engineering, etc.)
- 1-3 years of experience in quality control, data analysis, or online education management.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including advanced features like pivot tables, formulae, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent observational skills, with attention to detail in teacher performance, class engagement, and technical quality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with various teams and provide constructive feedback.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and platforms (in-house LMS integrated with Zoom).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in EdTech or online learning environments, particularly in STEM-related subjects like coding and robotics.
- Familiarity with quality management processes or educational frameworks.
- Understanding of LMS platforms and Zoom functionality is a plus.
