As a trusted technology partner to Fortune 500 clients, we specialize in building immersive, high-performance applications for connected devices.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Engineer with deep expertise in React Native, OTT platforms, and smart TV environments (Android TV & Apple TV) to join our innovative engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile and TV applications that deliver seamless, engaging content experiences to millions of users worldwide. This role requires a strong blend of technical excellence, user-centric design thinking, and a passion for emerging media technologies.Key Responsibilities:Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable mobile and TV applications using React Native for Android, iOS, Android TV, and Apple TV.Design and implement responsive, accessible, and performant UI/UX components optimized for large-screen and remote-control navigation.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end OTT solutions with rich media playback, personalization, and real-time interactivity.Integrate with backend services, content delivery networks (CDNs), DRM systems (Widevine, FairPlay), and analytics platforms for comprehensive user insights.Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery consumption across diverse hardware and network conditions.Implement robust error handling, crash reporting, and offline-first capabilities to ensure reliability in low-connectivity scenarios.Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in mobile development, testing, and CI/CD.Work closely with QA teams to build automated test suites for UI, integration, and regression testing across multiple devices and OS versions.Stay ahead of industry trends in streaming technology, smart TV ecosystems, and emerging platforms to drive innovation.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development with a strong focus on React Native.Proven experience building and deploying production-grade OTT applications with video streaming, playback, and user authentication.In-depth knowledge of Android TV and Apple TV development environments, including TV-focused navigation patterns, accessibility, and remote control input handling.Strong understanding of video codecs, streaming protocols (HLS, DASH), and adaptive bitrate streaming.Experience with state management (Redux, Context API), native module integration, and performance profiling tools.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, App Store and Google Play deployment, and over-the-air (OTA) update mechanisms.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with media frameworks like ExoPlayer (Android), AVPlayer (iOS), and TV-specific SDKs (e.g., Android TV Leanback, tvOS).Knowledge of DRM integration (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady) and secure content delivery.Exposure to cloud-based media workflows, transcoding (FFmpeg), and VOD/PVR systems.Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of published apps.Experience working in media and entertainment, streaming services, or digital content platforms.Note: We are looking for only Immediate Joiners or who can join within 15 days.
