Assistant Manager – Information Security Risk

The jobholder is responsible for articulating and reporting the risk profile of the Company from an information and cyber security perspective through ongoing reviews, assessments, checks and challenges, providing assurance on enforcement of the IS/CS policies that Company is using to protect the information assets, provide specialist support to management and information user in implementation of the Policy, provide assurance that IS team delivers the IS program appropriately apart from promoting user awareness within the organisation, coordinating the security related issues / implementation within the Company as well as relevant external agencies.
Main Priorities of the position:
1.
Assist CISO
t o meet the IRDAI Information and Cyber Security Compliance2. Support Operational Risk Control Framework (ORCM) in the organization by conducting sample reviews and effectiveness check on Risk & Control Self-Assessment / Business Standard attestation / Issue Closure/ Risk events/ New launches/ Change implementation related to Information Technology and Cyber Security3. Contribute to IT security culture through training/work shops4. Periodic review of DLP and SOC as 2nd Line perspective6. Thematic Reviews of IT processes/ Third party Information Security Assessments/ Information Security and Risk Assessment of New/Change Applications/Implementations7. Review of IT and BP policy and procedure once in a year8. periodic review of IS standards9. Participate/Facilitate awareness around Information Security protocols / Phishing etc., amongst employees/third party.10. Assist CISO on Project Governance and Project risk management standards including methodology for assessing project risks and reporting project risks to IS Team
Qualifications:BE / B Tech / MCA / Post graduation in Computer applications, information cyber securityCertified Information Security Auditor (CISA)ISO-27001 Certified
Experience:2-3 years plus
Preferred:Experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs
Skills/ knowledge:
Good verbal and written communication skillsStrong Report Writing SkillsTeam WorkAnalytical skillsMS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
