Cyber Security Engineer with SplunkAs a Cyber Security Engineer with Splunk, you will lead the development and implementation of intelligent security solutions using SIEM, SOAR, and machine learning to enhance detection, response, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.Main Responsibilities:Data Analysts, Inc. requires a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise SIEM (Splunk) solutions for centralized log analysis and real-time event monitoring.The ideal candidate will develop and fine-tune correlation rules, alerts, dashboards, and use cases to detect anomalous and malicious activity.This role also involves leading data ingestion and normalization from varied enterprise systems (e.g., cloud workloads, endpoints, network devices).You will develop and maintain SOAR playbooks to automate incident detection, triage, response, and recovery.The successful candidate will optimize SOAR workflows and integrations with security infrastructure to reduce MTTD/MTTR.Built-in machine learning models will identify security anomalies, enrich event context, and predict threats.Collaboration with Security Operations Center (SOC), DevOps, IT, and business units is key to aligning security automation with business goals.Incident data analysis will uncover trends and provide recommendations for improving controls and detection.Maintaining detailed documentation for playbooks, integrations, automation processes, and incident response protocols is crucial.Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging tools is essential to advancing detection and automation strategies.Mentoring junior engineers and promoting SOAR and SIEM best practices within the team is an important aspect of this role.A strong understanding of Splunk and its capabilities is required.
