Job Title: Data Architect for Azure Cloud Solutions Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to join our team and design innovative data architectures for Azure-based applications. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions that drive business growth and success.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, security frameworks, and best practices, with expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platforms. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive data strategies, ensure seamless integration, and optimize system performance. Key Responsibilities:Data Architecture Design: Develop end-to-end data architectures for Azure-based applications, emphasizing security, scalability, and performance.Data Modeling: Create comprehensive data models, ensuring high-quality, well-documented, and easily maintainable data structures.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define and enforce data governance, security standards, and architectural best practices.ETL/ELT Pipelines: Architect and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure-native tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics) to meet evolving business needs.Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security strategies, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance with data protection regulations.Cloud Migration and Modernization: Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.Team Leadership: Mentor and guide data engineers and analysts in data architecture, security protocols, and scalable solution design.Orchestration Layer: Design an orchestration layer enabling a Graph API framework for front-end interaction with the backend data.Product Architecture: Own and document the end-to-end product architecture, including diagrams, capacity models, and dependencies.Scalability and Performance: Collaborate with product engineering and test teams to define clear, measurable benchmarks for scalability, performance, and capacity, and validate them through rigorous testing.Architecture Reviews: Formalize architecture design reviews and checkpoints before development and release approvals.KPIs and Accountability: Align architecture KPIs with delivery outcomes to ensure the system achieves stability, high performance, and maintainability, regularly measuring and tracking these KPIs to drive continuous improvement and accountability. Required Qualifications:Microsoft Azure Certifications: Hold certifications in DP-300 – Azure Database Administrator Associate, DP-203 – Azure Data Engineer Associate, AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and AZ-500 – Azure Security Engineer Associate.Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Experience: 8–10 years of professional experience in data management, engineering, or architecture roles, with at least 4 years of specialized experience architecting solutions and data frameworks on Azure cloud platforms.Technical Skills: Advanced expertise in SQL, data modeling, and Azure-based ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics), as well as a deep understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance standards within cloud environments.Soft Skills: Proven track record in developing data strategies for secure, scalable, and high-performance applications, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and familiarity with Python, Power BI, or similar analytics tools. Benefits:Fully remote position based in India.Opportunity to work across two innovative international companies.Competitive compensation package.Collaborative, flexible work culture focused on growth, security, and innovation.
