Job Title:Data Platform Engineer OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to work as a Data Platform Engineer in our offshore analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our data platform. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support for the Denodo platform Deliver business-as-usual support for the data platform Maintain and manage the technical infrastructure Collaborate with developers to share best practices and knowledge Conduct proof-of-concepts for new features, functionality, and changes Monitor the Denodo landscape (system monitoring during business hours and weekend rotation from 5 AM to 5 PM PST) Support planned downtime Manage incidents and changes Oversee capacity management and life cycle management Generate service level reports (SLR) and monthly operational reports (MOR) Promote reports Review, optimize, and promote code Create data sources, base views, roles, service accounts, and implement row/column-level security Support system/platform upgrades Coordinate with vendors (collaborate with SAP vendor for standard SAP-related issues) Perform disaster recovery testing Requirements Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with Denodo Experience with incident and change management Knowledge of capacity management and life cycle management Experience with disaster recovery testing Skills in code review, optimization, and promotion BenefitsThis is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive rate based on level of experience. The role is suitable for individuals who are able to start within 30 days. No notice period longer than 30 days is required. Work ScheduleThe job requires working in a remote night shift setting from 8:30 PM IST to 5:30 AM IST.
