You will also manage the career progression of QA team.Key Responsibilities:Test Approach & Planning: Own the testing approach, strategy, design and ensure test cases align to product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.API Testing: Develop and maintain Manual / automated test scripts using tools such as Postman, REST AssuredPerformance Testing: Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter or similar open-source tools. Analyse performance requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios. Conduct performance testing to evaluate the scalability, reliability, and stability of systems under load. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including developers, Testers, Manager, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Test Execution & Reporting: Own & perform both manual and automated testing, track defects to closure and ensure the software鈥檚 functionality, performance, and stability. Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright or Selenium, other relevant frameworks.Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to validate that new changes do not adversely affect existing features.Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports. Provide feedback to improve testing processes.Continuous Improvement: Participate in retrospectives and contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiency gains.Understanding: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, including methods, endpoints, and data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).Qualifications:Frameworks: Cucumber (BDD), Data Driven, Page Object Model, TestNGTesting Knowledge: Understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.Tools: Proficiency with issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure, ClickUp) and version control systems (e.g., Git).Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.CI/CD Exposure: Experience with continuous integration and deployment processes.Experience mentoring and leading a team, providing trainings.
