Based in Chennai, AppGlide is led by a team of IIT & IIM alumni.Role & Responsibility: We are looking for a seeking a Junior Website Administrator / Hosting Support Engineer to assist with the ongoing management of client websites, hosting environments, and domain-related services. This is a foundational, full-time technical position suited for someone with basic to intermediate experience in web administration who can work efficiently under direct supervision. The selected candidate will support day-to-day website maintenance, handle DNS and hosting configurations, and ensure consistent uptime and performance across multiple client environments.Skills:2+ years with website hosting, management, and DNS configurationFamiliarity with common control panels (cPanel, Plesk) and cloud environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)Basic understanding of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and file management via FTP or SFTPAbility to troubleshoot domain, SSL, or website issues methodicallyStrong communication skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated but comfortable following direct supervisionResponsibilities:Manage and update websites hosted across various platforms (WordPress, cPanel, Apache, etc.)Handle domain management, DNS adjustments, SSL renewals, and email-related configurationsPerform basic server administration and routine maintenance tasksAssist in website migrations, backups, and version control updatesCoordinate directly with the Managing Director for task prioritization and schedulingMaintain accurate documentation of systems and configurationsWhy you'll love AppGlideWe believe in a culture of mutual respect and ownership.
