Company Description Mhetras Design Founded in 2002, Mhetras Design is an architecture and interior design firm led by Rajit and Sheetal Mhetras. With over 20 years of experience, we have delivered projects across India and overseas, including residences, hotels, restaurants, corporate offices, community spaces, and more. Our design approach is client-centric, environmentally responsive, and focused on long-term sustainability. Many of our clients return to us for multiple projects, a testament to the trust and satisfaction we strive to build. Where desired, we also incorporate the principles of Vaastu Shastra into our contemporary designs. Role Description Mhetras Design is inviting applications for the position of Junior Architect to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Principal Architect and will be responsible for supporting the design and execution of diverse architectural projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development of architectural concepts, drawings, and detailed project plans. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure effective integration of design elements. Contribute to project management activities, including monitoring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards. Participate in site visits, design reviews, and client presentations. Ensure compliance with company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or Master’s degree in Architecture (M.Arch) from a recognized institution. 0–10 years of relevant professional experience, including internships. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop, or equivalent architectural design software. Strong aptitude in architectural planning and design , with a keen eye for detail and effective problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
