Compliance and Information Security SpecialistWe are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance and Information Security Specialist to assist clients in their compliance journeys.Role Overview:As a Compliance and Information Security Specialist, you will collaborate closely with senior consultants and clients to implement and maintain Information Security Management Systems. Your role will support process optimization and regulatory compliance efforts across various frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, PIPEDA, and other ISO standards including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.Key Responsibilities:Conduct Gap Analyses: Identify areas of non-compliance with ISO standards by analyzing client processes and systems.Develop Documentation: Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of ISO management systems and related procedures.Deliver Training: Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver training and guidance on ISO standards as well as other relevant compliance and management standards to client staff.Participate in Internal Audits: Participate in internal audits and prepare detailed reports on findings.Maintain Documentation: Maintain and update documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.Support Client Audits: Support clients in preparing for external audits and certification processes.Provide Ongoing Assistance: Provide ongoing assistance to clients for continuous improvement and compliance maintenance.Stay Informed: Stay informed on the latest updates and best practices related to Information Security standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or a related field.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated by the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data to generate meaningful insights and identify trends that drive effective decision-making and process improvement.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to diverse audiences.Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and client relationship building.Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Self-Directed Learning: Proven ability and enthusiasm for self-directed learning to continuously acquire new knowledge, stay current with evolving relevant standards, and effectively master applicable tools and methodologies.Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
