Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PGT Psychology and Counselling position at De Paul School Kolkata. The role involves conducting psychological testing, providing counseling, communicating with students and staff, promoting mental health awareness, and contributing to the educational development of students.


Qualifications

  • Psychology and Mental Health skills
  • Experience in Psychological Testing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of Education principles
  • Ability to provide counseling and support
  • Empathy and patience in dealing with students
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or related field


Position: Psychology Teacher

Level: Higher Secondary Level

Subject: Psychology

 

Requirements:

Master's degree in Psychology and B. Ed

Teaching experience at the Higher Secondary Level.

Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create a positive learning environment.

Proficient in the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.

 

Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Psychology to Higher Secondary students and assessing and providing feedback on students’ progress.

Collaborating with other teachers and staff to improve the learning experience for students.

Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies and methods.

Encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.

Participating in extracurricular activities and school events.
