About Us:We are a creative startup producing short-format cinematic animated movies based on themes of astrology and stock market. We are a small, disciplined team that values creativity, consistency, and aim for a healthy work-life balance.Role Description:We’re looking for a creative sound engineer to design the complete soundscape for our 2D animated short films. You’ll be responsible for crafting mood-driven sound design using royalty-free elements — bringing life, depth, and immersion to each frame. The role involves working closely with the director to match every sound cue, ambience, and effect to the tone of the scene.Responsibilities:Design and mix complete soundscapes for short-format 2D animated films (4–6 mins/week)Layer, synchronize, and balance multiple audio tracks (dialogue-free projects) using DAWs such as Reaper, Pro Tools, or Adobe AuditionSource and integrate royalty-free music, ambient beds, and Foley to enhance visual storytellingApply EQ, compression, and reverb to achieve broadcast-quality mixesAlign sound intensity and dynamics to match visual pacing and scene emotionDeliver final mixes in stereo format optimized for YouTube and social media platformsRequirements:Proficiency in DAWs such as Reaper, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or equivalentStrong understanding of sound layering, EQ, compression, reverb, and panningAbility to clean, edit, and balance multiple audio layers for dynamic scenesExperience in Foley, ambience creation, and cinematic sound effectsFamiliarity with royalty-free sound libraries and licensing normsCapable of delivering polished, high-quality audio for 4–6 minutes of animation weeklyStrong sense of timing, rhythm, and emotional tone matchingExcellent communication skills and ability to work within structured deadlines
