We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our data and analytics team.About the RoleThis role is critical to the development and enhancement of our dimensional data models, supporting key financial reporting and analytics across the business.You will work closely with stakeholders to understand complex financial concepts and translate them into scalable, performant data models.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling, ideally within financial services.You will design and develop dimensional data models to support financial reporting and broader analytics.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop dimensional data models to support financial reporting and broader analytics.Build and maintain robust data pipelines using SQL, Python, and dbt.Work with Microsoft Fabric OneLake and related technologies.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial concepts and translate them into technical solutions.Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across the warehouse.Skills & Experience:Proven experience in data warehousing and dimensional modelling, ideally within financial services.Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and PowerBI.Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent analytics technologies.Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex problems.Strong understanding of financial concepts and how they translate into data models.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Benefits:This role offers a unique opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic team.You will be working on cutting-edge technology, collaborating with expert colleagues, and driving business outcomes through your expertise.If you're a motivated professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we'd love to hear from you
