Job OverviewThe position of Senior Test Specialist is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT) for credit risk strategies and scorecard integrations. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and effective validation of business logic.Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate end-to-end strategy logic, inputs, outputs, and decision outcomes.Conduct thorough unit testing of individual credit strategies or rule components to confirm correct implementation of business logic.Utilize data analytics tools such as SAS to extract, validate, and analyze test data, comparing results against expected outputs.Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test result summaries for all testing cycles.Support go-live readiness through UAT sign-offs and ensure audit-ready documentation of results.Key QualificationsStrong programming skills in SAS, with expertise in data extraction, manipulation, and validation.Proven experience in testing or validating credit risk or decision engine strategies (e.g., application, behavior, or collections strategies).Hands-on experience with UAT management, test planning, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).High proficiency in MS Excel for validation, reconciliation, and reporting.Solid understanding of credit risk management processes and decisioning frameworks (scorecards, rules, cut-offs, overrides).Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Additional RequirementsCandidates should possess a solid understanding of financial services industry standards and regulations, with a focus on credit risk management and decisioning frameworks. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI would be an added advantage.
