As an intern, you will play a key role in delivering risk and analytic solutions in the financial services industry.About this RoleDeliver risk and/or analytic solutions in the financial services industryWork with stakeholders across product management, data science, and engineering and drive implementation of risk and data analytic strategiesManage challenging time constraints and ensure on-time delivery of projectsDevelop and generate management reports for portfolio monitoringCollect data, analyze, and identify key differentiating indicators for segmentation and for driving effective risk mitigation and/or marketing strategiesWork closely with partner teams in identifying, evaluating, and recommending new data that helps in overall risk and marketing strategiesAnalyze portfolio trends and simulate risk and marketing strategiesWork closely with data science team on model building and deploymentBuild scorecards that leverage both internal performance data and external performance dataPerform analysis, develop strategies, and craft presentations that help articulate strategy for the leadership teamYour QualificationsA quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, or economics or related disciplinesKnowledge of database query language (e.g., SQL) and developer tools such as Python, R, Databricks in a finance or analytics fieldPrior model building experience is a plus but not criticalAn analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitaskThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to deal with ambiguityStrong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teamsThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team and contribute to the development of innovative risk and data analytic solutions.
