Senior Principal Software Engineer

Our organization is on the cusp of a revolution in cloud native architecture, and we need talented individuals like you to help us drive innovation forward.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-performance microservices that are resilient and self-healing.Collaborate with our cloud engineering team to build scalable systems using cutting-edge technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Contribute to the development of best-in-class engineering practices that emphasize performance, scalability, resiliency, and security.Analyze and debug complex issues, including bugs, customer complaints, and performance problems.Participate in various planning, backlog grooming, and technical design reviews to ensure the delivery of top-notch solutions.Provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.RequirementsSuccessful candidates will have:A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.At least 10 years of experience developing and shipping enterprise distributed and/or cloud-native systems.Strong understanding of system design principles and distributed systems architectural best practices.Demonstrated ability to write high-quality code in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented languages.Experience with web application development using microservices frameworks such as Helidon, Dropwizard, Spring, etc.Knowledge of public cloud SaaS, PaaS services, and/or related technology experience, cloud engineering infrastructure development.Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment.Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through written designs.What We OfferWe offer a competitive compensation package, opportunities for career growth and professional development, and a collaborative work environment that fosters innovation and creativity.Why Join Us?By joining our team, you'll become part of a community that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
