Key skills: NodeJS + Gen AI +LLM + Sockets + Audio/ Video
As a Backend Engineer, you will be part of a creative team dedicated to developing and optimizing our next-generation streaming platforms. This role involves leveraging advanced techniques in Node.js, Real-Time Communication (WebSockets), and Generative AI to deliver robust, scalable, and innovative back-end solutions that power our high-traffic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Implement features that integrate Generative AI (LLM) technologies to enhance user interactions and content personalization.
- Develop APIs and manage real-time data flow using WebSockets for seamless audio and video streaming experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, product managers, and UX designers to define clear specifications, features, and timelines.
- Ensure optimal application performance and responsiveness, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
- Maintain code integrity and organization, including thorough documentation and version control.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a top-tier university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development with a strong proficiency in Node.js.
- Demonstrated experience with real-time technologies such as WebSockets and RESTful API integration.
- Solid understanding and practical experience in implementing Generative AI models in production environments.
- Experience in building and maintaining audio/video streaming services is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), database management, and DevOps practices.

- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) for enhancing API responses.
