Subject Matter ExpertsWe are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop assessment items aligned to state standards and state assessment tests across multiple states.The SME will review content alignment and ensure the quality and accuracy for English Language Arts (ELA).The project involves creating assessment questions in accordance with state test blueprints for ELA grades 3-8 and English I.Content creation: AI-generated and SME-authored assessment items, including passages as needed.Review process:Accuracy and clarity of questions and passages.Pedagogical relevance and rigor.Alignment to standards and/or Unpacked Standards Measurable Objectives (USMOs).Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Learning Design team to generate and review multiple-choice and non-multiple-choice questions.Evaluate questions for accuracy, pedagogical relevance, and alignment to standards.Author items, including sources or creating passages as necessary.Qualifications:Proven expertise as a Subject Matter Expert in ELA instruction.Demonstrated experience in authoring high-quality, rigorous assessment items.Strong understanding of Depth of Knowledge levels.Familiarity with various question types.
