About the RoleRemote, Based in India. We’re seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support a major reporting migration from Tableau to Google Looker. This role focuses on designing and building scalable data models, data marts, and ETL/ELT pipelines to enable efficient reporting in Looker. You’ll collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and optimize performance for thousands of reports.What You’ll DoDesign and implement scalable data models (conceptual, logical, and physical)Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data warehouse integrationDevelop and optimize BigQuery (or equivalent) structures for reportingCollaborate with analysts to ensure data marts support Looker dashboardsCreate and maintain LookML models and define the semantic layer in LookerTune SQL queries for performance and scalabilityEnsure data integrity and consistency across migrated reportsWhat We’re Looking For4–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on Google Looker supportStrong experience in data modeling and building data martsProficiency in ETL/ELT pipeline development and SQL performance tuningExperience with LookML and semantic layer designFamiliarity with healthcare data and reporting requirementsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams$5.00 - $15.00 Per Hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
