Lead a team of data engineers in the development and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks using PySpark and SQL to support carbon footprint analytics. About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Data Engineer Lead to join our sustainability project, focusing on developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks using PySpark and SQL to support carbon footprint analytics. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from various sources, including MBOM from SAP, EBOM from Oracle-based systems, supplier environmental data, and factory operations data.Build data models that combine engineering, manufacturing, supplier, and factory operations data to generate emissions metrics.Collaborate with sustainability analysts, engineering teams, and supply chain stakeholders to translate carbon calculation logic into data transformations.Ensure high data quality, lineage, and governance using Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and standard best practices.Leverage AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Athena for orchestration and storage.Document data logic and workflows for traceability and compliance with ESG standards. RequirementsStrong experience in data engineering, particularly with ETL/ELT pipelines and big data processing frameworks like PySpark and SQL.Proficiency in working with cloud-based platforms, specifically AWS services like S3, Glue, and Athena.Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to document technical solutions and ensure data quality and governance. BenefitsPossible relocation or remote work options.A chance to work on a sustainable project that contributes to reducing carbon footprint.A collaborative and dynamic work environment. OthersPlease note that this is not a list of exhaustive requirements.
