Genome Data Analyst RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team and support the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of genomic data.Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality analysis of whole exome, whole genome, and targeted gene panel sequencing data to drive business value.Analyse and interpret variants according to industry standards and guidelines.Generate clear, accurate, and clinically relevant genetic reports for healthcare professionals, clients, and internal teams to inform decision-making.Collaborate with laboratory scientists, bioinformaticians, and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate case review, resulting in improved patient outcomes.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of genetic databases, variant classification tools, and the latest literature to stay ahead of industry trends.Participate in regular case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings, and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance analytical skills and share best practices.Ensure all analyses and reports comply with quality standards and data privacy regulations to maintain stakeholder trust.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Genetics, Genetic Counseling, or a related field.Strong understanding of human genetics, variant interpretation, and genomic technologies to deliver high-quality results.Hands-on experience with NGS data interpretation is highly preferred, as it enables efficient data analysis and insights.Familiarity with ClinVar, gnomAD, HGMD, OMIM, Varsome, or similar genomic databases and tools to leverage industry expertise.Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex data sets and resolve issues efficiently.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively convey complex ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment to maintain productivity and adaptability.
