Backend Engineering RoleWe are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to contribute to the development and operations of our platform's mission-critical services.You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Golang. Additionally, you will contribute to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented/microservices backend.Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using GolangRuby or Ruby on Rails experience is beneficialContribute to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented/microservices backendWrite clean, testable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis on qualityCollaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact featuresImprove performance, monitoring, and observability of backend servicesParticipate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical planningTroubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on reliability and root-cause analysisQualifications:5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in high-scale backend systemsStrong proficiency in Golang is required; knowledge of Ruby or Ruby on Rails is beneficialSolid foundation in computer science fundamentals – algorithms, data structures, and system designProven experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, or backend platforms in a production environmentFamiliarity with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageousComfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a collaborative mindsetStrong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software
