This is an individual contributor role with a high level of influence and responsibility. RAR Functional consultant works hand in hand with product and engineering teams to create solutions that cross multiple connected systems and applications supporting the company business activities. We are making huge investments in our Finance systems and application toolsets. As part of that, we have a need for a seasoned professional with deep proficiency in finance application technologies.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SAP S4, RAR, doing POC's, identifying GAPS, providing the solution and doing hands on configurations , as well as experience working with engineering teams to develop feature functionality for key finance, accounting, and executive stakeholders across the organization. Responsibilities Evaluates architectural options and Supports overall architecture of the system, ensuring commonality across systems Provides subject matter expertise and technical consulting support on either vendor or internal applications and interfaces Develop and deploy new processes and configuration to meet business needs in SAP RAR Interfaces with Product Managers, Product Owner, Engineering and IT partners at the Program level to define and estimate features for agile teams Conducts industry research, facilitates new product and vendor evaluations, and assists in vendor selection Assists in production support and maintenance of applications as needed Provides subject matter expert solutions and hands-on management of configuration Manage expectations with internal stakeholders and customers  Minimum Qualifications Must have Strong hands on experience with SAP RAR implementations with S4 HANA and acting as an Key functional resource 5+ years' experience in business application design, development, implementation, and/or solution architecture within the SAP Functional areas of OTC, RevRec, IFRS, USGAAP, ASC 606, RAR Experience in implementing ASC 606 with applications like RAR, RevPro etc. Experience in doing Large data migration for RAR Experience with integration between ECC, CC, S4 BRIM, CI to RAR Knowledge of RAR OCM module is good to have Experience in an Agile environment is preferred Experience with multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments Translates business needs into technical architecture requirements Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation Knowledge of all components of a technical architecture Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations Estimates financial impact of technical architecture alternatives Applies multiple technical solutions to business problems Quickly comprehends the functions and capabilities of new technology Excellent written and oral communications skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications You take risks and can make quick decisions You can take vague requirements, clarify and drive them to execution You have a passion for continuous integration and continuous deliveryLocation: Bangalore (Hybrid) Shift: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST (Afternoon Shift) Contract Duration: 12 months Experience: 10+ years of overall experience. 8+ years of relevant experience. Position Overview: The Company helps people imagine and create a better world through an unparalleled depth of experience and a broad portfolio of software. The SAP ABAP Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom programs and enhancements within the SAP environment using ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming). This role involves collaborating with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring high-quality code and performance optimization. Responsibilities: - Design, develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, Enhancement Framework, CDS views, AMDP and latest ABAP syntax. - Work with APIs and Gateway services for Fiori integration and establishing communication with 3rd party systems. - Optimize performance of ABAP objects (SQL tuning, code optimization). - Handle Data Dictionary objects (tables, views, structures) and transport management. 1. Adobe Forms Development- - Ability to design and develop Abode forms from scratch and migrating existing smatforms/scripts to Adobe forms. - Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and design Abode forms layouts for areas like Billing, PO, invoicing etc. - Integrate Adobe forms with ABAP programs, workflows, and business processes. - Implement dynamic fields, conditional logic, and scripting in Adobe forms using JavaScript or FormCalc. 2. ABAP Development- - Write and optimize ABAP programs, reports, enhancements (BADI, User Exits), and OData services. - Knowledge of working on object oriented (ABAP objects). - Develop and debug RFCs, BAPIs, and function modules for form data population. - Work on data retrieval logic from multiple modules (FI, MM, SD, etc.) for Adobe form printing. 3. Integration & Configuration- - Configure output management in S/4HANA (BRF+, Output Types) for form printing. - Integrate forms with SAP Output Management Framework (OMF). - Support PDF generation and email functionality for automated form distribution. 4. Performance & Quality- - Optimize form performance and Ensure quality for large data handling. - Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT for Adobe forms and related ABAP objects. - Ensure proper error handling, logging, and troubleshooting for print programs. 5. Documentation & Support- - Prepare technical specifications, mapping documents, and end user guides. - Provide production support for issues related to forms and ABAP programs. - Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Additional Skills (Good to Have): - Knowledge of SAP Output Control Framework (OMF) in S/4. - Experience with SAP Adobe Document Services (ADS). - Familiarity with workflow integration and email triggering for PDF attachments. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects (e.g., converting Smart Forms/SAP Script to Adobe). Preferred Qualifications: - 8+ Years of Experience in BRIM S/4HANA (On-Prem/Private Cloud) for S/4HANA 1909 or Exposure to OpenText e-invoicing and returns tax compliance. - Hands-on experience with SAP integration tools and best practices. - Strong business acumen and understanding of global taxation regulations.
