Senior Data Architect PositionJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to lead our data practice, focusing on the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. This role requires a rare blend of deep architectural expertise and proven thought leadership.The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, or Cloud Engineering, with at least 6 years of expert hands-on architecture experience with Snowflake. They must also have direct experience in the BFSI sector, demonstrating deep knowledge of regulatory reporting, core banking systems, and risk management.Key Responsibilities:Solution Articulation: Translate complex business challenges into clear, scalable, and secure Snowflake solutions.Architecture Design: Define target state architecture for large-scale data migrations from legacy systems to Snowflake.Security & Compliance: Design and enforce data governance frameworks within Snowflake to meet stringent regulatory requirements.Emerging Tech: Lead adoption and application of Snowpark, Snowpipe Streaming, and Native Application Framework for advanced financial analytics and AI/ML strategies.Requirements:Experience - 15+ years in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, or Cloud Engineering.Snowflake Expertise - 6+ years of expert hands-on architecture experience with Snowflake.Domain Expertise - 7+ years of direct experience in the BFSI sector.Certifications - SnowPro Advanced Architect, SnowPro Core, and at least one other advanced certification.Technical Skills - Expert in SQL, proficiency in Python (Snowpark), ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Informatica), and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
