This VP-level role will be responsible for driving strategic automation projects across trade processing and reconciliation functions, integrating client trade data, and enhancing operational efficiency through cutting-edge technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in fund administration, strong technical acumen, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic, global environment.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Delivery- Lead the design, development, and deployment of trade automation solutions across fund services.- Define and execute the automation roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.- Champion process optimization and digital transformation initiatives across trade workflows.Client Integration & Technical Oversight- Oversee integration of client trade files into internal systems, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.- Collaborate with client service managers, product teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver tailored automation strategies.- Ensure high-quality delivery of ETL processes, data mapping, and exception handling.Operational Excellence & Risk Management- Ensure trade transactions are processed accurately and timely, adhering to SLAs and compliance standards.- Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows, proactively resolving issues and minimizing operational risk.- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automated processes to support audit readiness and transparency.Team Management & Collaboration- Mentor and lead a team of analysts and specialists across trade automation and reconciliation domains.- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.- Partner with global stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business priorities.Essential Skills & Qualifications- Advanced proficiency in SQL, VBA, MS Access, and Excel.- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data mapping.- Familiarity with Advent Geneva, Paxus, and market data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv).- Strong understanding of financial instruments including listed, unlisted, OTCs, derivatives, and private equity.Domain Knowledge- Deep expertise in Fund Administration, Trade Processing, and Capital Markets.- Experience in managing large-scale automation projects and system migrations.Leadership & Communication- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships globally.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Disclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
