Ltd. is looking for a Junior Quantitative System Developer to join our founding team. In this role, you will work directly with senior engineers to build and maintain the core infrastructure of our algorithmic trading platform. This is an intensive, high-growth position for a developer who prioritises latency, reliability, modular scalability and trade execution. You will be responsible for transforming quantitative strategies into production-grade systems; you will be writing production code that drives live trading strategies.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement a scalable, event-driven trading engine capable of handling multi-asset strategies with minimal latency.Build robust pipelines for real-time market data streaming and historical data storageCollaborate with Quantitative Researchers to transform their Ideas, Models and Prototypes into optimized, production ready code.Assist in profiling Python and C++ code to identify bottlenecks and reduce execution latency.Develop secure connectors for broker APIs and exchange gateways to handle order management (OMS/EMS) and risk checks.Manage containerized environments (Docker) and assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment.RequirementsEngineering Experience: 0–3 years of software development experience (strong internships or open-source contributions count).Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of Python (Pandas, Ta-Lib, multiprocessing, asyncio). Familiarity with C++ or Rust is a major differentiator.API Knowledge: Hands-on experience working with third party APIs (handling rate limits, authentication, and WebSocket streams). Experience with trading APIs (e.g., Zerodha Kite, AngelOne) is a strong plusDatabase Skills: Working knowledge of Redis, SQL and experience with at least one time-series or NoSQL databaseConcurrency: Ability to write thread safe, asynchronous code to handle massive concurrent data streams.Experience with Linux environments and shell scriptingPersonal interest in financial markets, trading, or crypto.
