Role: Cypress Automation Engineer Experience: 7+years Location: Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Noida, Gurgaon Immediate joiners only Overview We are seeking a skilled Cypress Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for our web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation, continuous testing, and modern QA best practices within Agile development environments. Key Responsibilities Automation Development Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress . Build scalable, reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing. Implement data-driven and component-based test strategies. Test Execution & Quality Assurance Execute automated and manual test cases as needed. Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps. Validate UI flows, backend services, and integrations. CI/CD & DevOps Integration Integrate Cypress tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.). Enable continuous testing for rapid releases and agile delivery. Monitor test execution results and optimize test suites for speed and reliability. Collaboration Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. Participate in sprint ceremonies, design reviews, and quality discussions. Advocate for best testing practices and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Documentation & Reporting Maintain documentation for automation frameworks, test cases, and execution reports. Provide regular updates on testing progress, coverage, and defect status. Required Skills Strong experience in Cypress for UI and API automation. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript . Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, frameworks, and libraries. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and DOM concepts . Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
