Job Overview:The Chief of Staff – Group Operations is a senior leadership role requiring an individual who can work independently, manage staff, resolve problems, and ensure seamless operational execution without direct supervision.Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the automotive, fleet, insurance, logistics, or service industry. They must have managed teams of 10+ people and possess experience working in fast-paced environments.Responsibilities include overseeing operational activities across multiple entities, leading teams, managing staff performance & KPIs, handling claims, fleet operations, and workshop work, monitoring cash flow, expenses, vendor invoices, bookings, and repair costs, resolving escalations, negotiations, and daily challenges, implementing systems, processes, and SOPs, providing regular reporting to stakeholders, ensuring operational efficiency, discipline, and accountability.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations for rentals, claims, repairs, and workshop activitiesEnsure timely customer service, booking fulfillment, and fleet utilizationOversee claims handling and insurer communicationMonitor and review workshop jobs, parts, and repair qualityLead internal teams in India & AustraliaMonitor KPIs, task completion, and staff disciplineResolve staffing issues, performance gaps, and operational bottlenecksReview daily performance numbers, pending claims, bookings, and expensesApprove invoices, workshop bills, and supplier paymentsPrepare and submit reports directly to stakeholdersBuild and implement SOPs across rentals, claims, workshopImprove efficiencies and reduce operational costsIntroduce new systems, tools, and workflow automationAttend management meetingsAct as the bridge between stakeholders and teamsTake responsibility for sensitive and confidential matters
