Backend Developer OpportunitiesAs a backend developer, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable services that process high volumes of data reliably and efficiently. Our platform is an AI-powered SaaS solution that transforms app store reviews into actionable insights for mobile product teams.Key responsibilities include:Designing and implementing event-driven architecturesDeveloping asynchronous processing pipelinesBuilding and improving APIsImplementing robust data storage patternsCollaborating with the ML/AI team to integrate AI capabilities into production systemsDesigning monitoring and alerting systemsContribute to security best practicesParticipate in architecture decisions as the team growsDebugging and resolving production issues across distributed systemsWriting clean, tested code and participating in code reviewsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of backend engineering experience: Significant work on production systems at scale.Strong proficiency in Python or similar backend languages.Experience with cloud platforms and serverless architectures.Solid understanding of NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message queues, and asynchronous processing patterns.Understanding of security fundamentals: Authentication, encryption, secrets management.Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion in a fully remote environment.The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for building scalable and efficient backend systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
