Job Title: Finance LeadDepartment: Finance & AccountingReports To: Finance Manager/ VP of FinanceLocation: BangaloreEmployment Type: Full-timePosition Overview:The Finance Lead will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving strategicfinancial planning and analysis , project cost management, ensuring compliance withaccounting standards, and supporting business growth through data-driven insights. digitalsolutions, and project-based revenue models common in the IT sector .This role requiresstrong leadership, analytical ability, and business acumen to manage budgeting, forecasting,and reporting processes effectively.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage finance , accounting activities and payroll, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for IT business units, including software development, cloud services, and technology projects.Manage cash flow, working capital, and OPEX related to R&D, cloud infrastructure, and technology tools.Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.Conduct financial analysis and planning to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvementPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements.( preparation of provisional and Projected )and Monthly MISOversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-makingEnsure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.( Direct taxation, Indirect taxation)Experience in handling SEZ compliance and filing , Import & Export filing under CustomsManage cash flow, working capital, and investment activities to optimize financial performance.Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.(Technical, Non Technical(Management, CS, Operational, HR )Lead annual audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (CA/CPA preferred).1-2 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with experience of leadership role in the start up or service Sector(IT).Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IndAS/GAAP), taxation, and compliance.Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting processes.Proficiency in financial software (e.g.,Zoho Books, ERP Software) and advanced Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management and problem solving Skills abilities.Key Competencies:Strategic Financial Planning and AnalysisIT Project Costing & ProfitabilityRisk Management & ComplianceForecasting & Budget ControlCash Flow & Cost ControlCross-functional Collaboration (IT, Product, Engineering)Data-Driven Decision MakingProcess Improvement & AutomationPerformance Indicators (KPIs):Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports(ARR, MRR)Budget variance controlR&D spending efficiencyProject profitability and utilization ratesCustomer Acquisition Cost (CAC)Gross margin for software and servicesCash flow management efficiencyAudit and compliance ratingsTeam productivity and development
