Backend Software Engineer - GolangWe are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer with expertise in Golang to design and develop high-quality backend services within a microservices architecture.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with containerization using Kubernetes, monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and document-oriented databases like MongoDB.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field is required, along with at least 6 years of professional experience in backend development. Advanced degrees are highly valued.Key responsibilities include:Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Golang.Deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes.Implementing monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.Working with MongoDB and other document-oriented databases to design efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms.Collaborating with DevOps and infrastructure teams to optimize cloud resource utilization on AWS.Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices to ensure maintainability and scalability of backend systems.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.At least 6 years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Golang programming.Proven experience designing and operating microservices architectures.Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes orchestration and container management.Proficient in monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.Solid experience working with document-oriented databases like MongoDB.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including services related to compute, storage, and networking.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
