Job Opportunity: Compensation SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Compensation Specialist to join our team.Responsibilities:Maintain and manage compensation processes for salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.Partner with HR teams on employee data updates.Prepare and submit tax filings and lead year-end processes.Reconcile general ledger entries and support month-end close and audits.Maintain and audit compensation records to ensure accuracy and compliance.Document and maintain compensation procedures to comply with internal controls and audit standards.Stay current with employment and compensation laws and ensure company policies remain compliant.Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives.Analyze metrics to support leadership decision-making.Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.Assist with system enhancements and integrations.Maintain confidentiality and data privacy in handling all compensation information.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.Required Skills:Five years of experience with a focus on compensation administration and benefits coordination.Demonstrated experience managing compensation in a professional services environment.Strong understanding of compensation laws and regulations.Experience with GL reconciliations, audits, and year-end processing.Proficiency with MS Office Suite and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
