We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality software releases by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.Key Responsibilities• Automation Development: Create and maintain automated tests using industry-leading tools and technologies.• Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement test strategies that meet the needs of the business.• Code Quality & CI/CD: Ensure that automated tests are integrated into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.• Performance & Security Testing: Identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.• Defect Management: Work closely with developers to identify, document, and track defects.• Mentorship & Best Practices: Share knowledge and expertise with junior team members to promote best practices.• Tooling & Innovation: Evaluate and introduce new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency.Required Skills & Qualifications• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.• Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate.• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6.• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, TDD, and BDD.• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.• Familiarity with security testing concepts (e.g., OWASP, penetration testing).Benefits• Remote work policy.• Comprehensive insurance policy.• Opportunity to make a significant impact in your career.About UsWe are a remote-first company dedicated to providing an Intelligent Virtual Assistant to financial institutions.
