We are seeking a skilled T24 specialist to contribute to the development of our core banking system.The ideal candidate will possess:Extensive knowledge of T24 programmingStrong analytical and review skillsA passion for improving code quality and engineering standardsIn this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our customizations while mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices across the organization.Your responsibilities will include:Maintaining adherence to coding standards and industry best practices for InfoBasic programs and T24 routinesConducting comprehensive peer reviews to enhance reliability and maintainability of core banking customizationsReviewing subroutines, batch jobs, and local developments for correctness and effective error handlingValidating file operations for proper locking, retry logic, and data integrityEnsuring compatibility and correctness of functions across T24 release versionsOptimizing complex database queries and assessing performance implicationsEvaluating code readability, design, and complexity and suggesting refactoring when requiredEnsuring proper logging, data validation, archival mechanisms, and exception handlingProviding constructive feedback and mentoring junior developers
