By blending people-centric leadership with disciplined operational strategies and purpose-driven growth, Barry-Wehmiller has become a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.Job Description:Job Summary:Seeking an experienced I&C Engineer who is highly motivated to join our team.  The successful candidate should have experience in executing projects for the Oil & Gas/FMCG/Food & Beverage and Advanced tech industries with the highest level of quality, cost effectiveness, and a focus on safety.  The successful candidate will work with licensed engineers and other experienced designers to develop instrument & Control drawings and deliverables. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with other engineering disciplines, sometimes across multiple offices.Responsibilities:Instrumentation and control system engineering design for industrial, manufacturing, and utilities projects.Preparation of Datasheets, selection & sizing of instruments & valves, vendor document reviews, checking & approval of design deliverablesPreparation of Hook-up & Installation drawings.Preparation of Cause-and-effect matrixPreparation of Wiring & loop sheets, instrument index, Instrument lists, I/O lists, JB & Panel location layouts.Preparation of Cable Schedule, Cable Tray sizing & loading schedule.Preparation of Cable routing, Cable Tray & Conduit layout, Grounding layout & support drawings.Preparation of BOM & Bulk MTOs.Basic understanding of control systems, review of P&ID, Knowledge on hazardous areasResponsible for instrumentation design on multi-discipline engineering projects. Requirements:8+ years of experience in the engineering in I&C design & detailed engineering.Background in engineering consultancy or EPCGood Experience with Navisworks is preferable.Experience in AutoCAD with detailed understanding of Drafting and Design standards is essential.Basic understanding of Instrumentation design concepts & Deliverables.Experience in SPI /InTools desirable.Conversant with International codes and StandardsProven ability to meet client deadlines.#LI-SE1At Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.  If your experience is close to what you see listed here, please still consider applying.  We know that our differences often can bring about innovation, excellence and meaningful work—therefore, people from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply to our positions.  Please let us know if you require reasonable accommodations during the interview process. ​Company:Design Group
