Trek India office is in Gurugram, India.Come, join us, and help us transform the world, transform the bike, and have a blast while doing itPosition Summary:Trek Bicycle is looking for a full-time QA automation team member, preferably with experience working on any Point of Sale (POS) Application functional domain or experience with any Desktop Applications or automating any Web Applications.Trek IT believes in crafted software, in end-to-end ownership of products, in fast iterations, and provides a flexible work environment. Our approach to software development is to use the best tool for the job, taking advantage of the latest technologies to solve complex problems.JOB DUTIES: Understand how QA fits into the System Development Lifecycle.Can create and maintain documentation/work associated with QA work, as an example but not limited to - Bugs, Tasks, feature files, and Basic Scripts.Has a solid understanding and can demonstrate through daily tasks how the Automation Framework is applied for the application they support.Has a solid understanding and can demonstrate through daily tasks how the architecture, design, and data flow of the application they support for purposes of effective script design.Can read, develop, Debug, and maintain simple to advanced Automation Scripts IndependentlyCan troubleshoot the application and/or Automation to resolve failed script situations using the appropriate process.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:Typically requires an associate or bachelor's degree in a computer science field and/or 2 to 5 years of experience.COMPETENCIES: (Soft Skills): Individually: Detail-oriented. Ability to meet deadlines.  Excellent communication skills.
