Data Architect SpecialistWe are seeking a seasoned Data Architect Specialist to lead the design and implementation of our data platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data architectures using modern data engineering practices and tools.Expertise in SQL and ability to write complex queries comfortablyKnowledge of SQL performance optimization techniques and best practices when writing SQL queriesEnd-to-end data pipeline design and implementation following medallion architecture patterns (bronze, silver, gold layers)Data transformations using SQL for large-scale data processingDimensional data modeling, aggregations, and KPI calculations in the gold layer for analytics consumptionData ingestion pipelines from multiple source systems including databases, APIs, and file-based sourcesData transformation logic using transformation frameworksData quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring across all pipeline stagesRequirements:Strong experience in data engineering building production-grade data pipelines and writing SQL queries.Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, window functions, CTEs, and query performance tuning.Dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehousing concepts.Building data pipelines and query optimization.Python proficiency for data engineering tasks and automation.Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools: Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.Data lake storage formats: Delta Lake, Parquet, or Iceberg.Data quality frameworks and implementing validation rules at scale; familiarity with Great Expectations or similar data quality testing frameworks.
