About the Role: Openings available with 7-20 years experience holding a B.E in Mechanical engineering. Candidate should be proficient in international codes and Standards related to piping engineering, development of piping classes, technical bid evaluation and vendor documents review. Candidate must be proactive, assertive, team player, assume responsible of his/her job, willing to learn and with good communication skills. Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the role: • Development of piping classes using ASME, ASTM, API codes and standards. • Reviewing client's specification and preparing technical clarifications/queries to it, recommending alternate cost saving material selection and design solutions where possible. • Thorough knowledge of international codes and standards -ASME B31.3, ASME B16 series, NACE MR0175, MACE MR0103, MSS SPs, APIs. • Preparation of valve data sheets • Preparation of technical specification of piping components • Preparation of RFQs (request for quotation). Request serial number Request serial number wasn't generated for replaced SRF. The replaced SRFs were named as SRF_5 & 6. • Carrying out technical bid evaluation of piping components and valves. • Reviewing post order documents received from supplier • Preparation of Preliminary Piping MTO based on latest P&ID & Piping Layout / Plot plan • Preforming Continuous MTO Activity based on the latest P&ID. • Manage and maintain piping MTO (Components such as Valves/Specialty items) for material estimation and purchasing. • Preforming Continuous MTO Activity based on the latest P&ID. • Proactive, self starter and ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Technical Skills: • Microsoft Excel & word • SPMAT (SPMAT Material Management Software)
