Job Title: SAP ECC Senior Finance Solution ArchitectRole Overview:The successful candidate will join a strong team with an ongoing global SAP implementation. As an ECC Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the good design and management of the existing global template for Financial and Controlling (FICO) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) whilst contributing heavily to new designs as the SAP project continues to roll out to 33 new territories globally.Key Responsibilities:Develop a strategy to formulate the solution functional design.Act as a liaison between the Business Process Analysis team and support.Responsible for the solution architecture on a major new strategic programme of work within the organisation.Ensure that the solution designed and delivered to IT estate are aligned to the architectural roadmap.Design and implement solutions to achieve successful business outcome and align with Global Design principles.Ownership, control, and management of a FICO global template.Extensive experience in SAP solution design.Hands-on configuration experience of FI, MM, SD, PS, CO-PA, CO-CCA/PCA, Banking, and SAP DRC.Good understanding of localization knowledge.Strong understanding of integration with Business Intelligence (BI).Experience of business process design including requirement gathering.Translate requirements into implementation plans.Ability to verify and modify recommended implementation plan based on Business Process Analysis inputs and existing/inflight projects.Design authority for support & project delivery teams.Work closely with Operational Support teams to resolve any issues.Work cross-functionally with multiple teams including implementation partners and support.Think creatively to come up with solutions to address issues.Aptitude for quickly learning new technologies, and a desire to research and understand new areas of SAP.Up-to-date with developments in areas in and around the SAP roadmap.Able to identify best practice solutions to complex problems.Train on methodology including streamlining, simplification, and automation of tasks.Person Specification:The ideal candidate must have excellent general SAP ECC skills, accompanied by a solid understanding of SAP BI. They should have a strong background in hands-on SAP development and experience designing resilient and high-availability solutions. Passionate about delivering high-quality solutions, they should have a successful track record of implementing SAP global programmes. Highly experienced with SAP FICO & SCM, with at least 8 to 10 implementation cycles completed, they would also benefit from skills and experience in ABAP & S4 HANA. A consulting background, accounting background, experience of working in a global environment, exposure to the media industry, and strong communication & presentation skills would be highly advantageous. Lastly, a working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies would be beneficial.
