About the RoleWe are seeking a Costing Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing costing activities and ensuring that our product costs are accurate and up-to-date.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product costing and a strong understanding of SAP systems. They will be able to analyze complex data, identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.In this role, you will be responsible for:Managing product costing activities and ensuring that costs are accurately reflected in our ERP system (SAP)Analyzing procurement transactions and identifying causes of price varianceReviewing exceptions and abnormal variances and working with markets to take corrective actionDeveloping reports to provide insights into price and factory variancesCollaborating with technology teams to resolve issues with reports and processesThe successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be comfortable with change and ambiguity.Key Skills and QualificationsCertified or qualified accountant with a professional accounting body (Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant)University degree in a relevant fieldA minimum of eight years of post-qualification work experience with a manufacturing organizationMinimum of six years hands-on experience with SAP product costing and end-to-end process knowledgeKnowledge of SAP MM and PP modules, including non-financial information impacts on costingThorough understanding of SAP CO module and process flow for product costing and fixing errors in costing and transaction processingExperience with analysis of variancesAbility to communicate effectively with stakeholders (oral and written)Ability to work independently or within a team environment and with multiple prioritiesBenefits of Working with UsWe offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment, where every team member can thrive.
