Job Summary:
The Network Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Corporate IT team, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, cloud environments (Azure), and disaster recovery solutions. This role involves managing critical infrastructure, troubleshooting complex network issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the performance, availability, and security of the organization’s IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain corporate IT network infrastructure (Cisco routers, switches, SDWAN, Firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
Administer cloud platforms and services (Azure), including IaaS, VPC/Vnet, and cloud monitoring solutions.
Collaborate with Cloud Engineers to plan and implement cloud environments and resources.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
Monitor network and system performance using tools like DataDog and OpManager.
Support disaster recovery and high availability solutions for the organization’s infrastructure.
Create and maintain documentation and best practices for cloud and network environments.
Participate in on-call rotation and assist with after-hours support when needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and collaborate with internal teams for fast issue resolution.

Key Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and network design.
Experience with Cisco routers, switches (IOS, NX-OS), VPNs, SD-WAN, and security products (ASA, NGFW, Firepower).
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and related networking concepts (VPC, VPN, load balancing).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python scripting.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as DataDog, OpManager, and related technologies.
CCNA, CCNP, Azure, or other relevant certifications are preferred.

Core Skills:
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in high-performance, high-traffic environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse internal and external teams.
Strong technical problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance, security, and availability.
Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

This role requires a proactive, organized individual with a solid understanding of network and cloud infrastructure, along with the ability to continuously improve systems and processes.
